Growing up in the south we always sang “White Christmas” as one of our Christmas carols, but it really did not have any significant meaning since we never had a White Christmas until this year. Santa and his elves arrived in our area a little after midnight with only a little bit of sleet falling, and I was sorta bummed thinking that the sleet would be all that we would get. Imagine my surprise when we got up on Christmas morning around 6:00 and everything had changed to what looked like a snow globe with beautiful flakes swirling around.
